Social Justice & Outreach
We advocate for the importance of all members engaging in life-long faith journeys.
We consider engaging in outreach ministries and mission part of our faith journeys. These journeys take us from Sunday School to youth events to adult councils where we live out our faith and strive for social justice in the areas of: Advocacy, Creation Care, Racial Justice, Peace, Indigenous Relations,and Community Support ministries and domestic poverty initiatives. Each of these avenues in which we strive for social justice is led by an individual council working within our Diocesan Justice Commission. Reach out to us to learn how you can get involved!

Justice Commission Overview
We are building God’s dream on Earth together, one person, one prayer, one action at a time! The recording here is of a presentation explaining the structure and work or the Justice Commission and is inclusive of a worship experience with Reggie Harris. The evening’s program also included breakout workshops which are not part of the recording.

The Episcopal Peace Fellowship – Maine is a small but committed group of peace-minded believers committed to doing justice, dismantling violence and striving to be peace makers.
