SUMMARY:St. David’s Annual Harvest Fair
DESCRIPTION:Come by on Sat.\, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the annual Harvest Fair at St. David’s Episcopal Church located at 138 York Street (Route 1 South just before the Wells town line) in Kennebunk. \nGood food abounds with delicious baked goods and sweets for sale along with homemade frozen pot pies and jams and jellies. Lunch will be a special treat featuring catered sandwiches and soups by outstanding local providers. \nThe Silent Auction will include over 60 high quality items and gift certificates from local businesses as well as a one-of-a-kind donation from the Bush family. \nFirst Lady Barbara Bush’s hand painted set of kitchen chairs featuring local landmarks including St. Ann’s church\, the Kennebunk River Club and of course Walker’s Point Point. The bidding is sure to be fierce! \nThe Basket Raffle will feature exciting collections of themed items such as Coffee Lovers\, Family Movie Night\, Seasonings and Spices\, Wines and Cheeses\, and a “Winter Car Care” Basket. \nOther tables include Table of Treasures featuring Christmas and Holiday decor\, our famous Jewelry Table with an array of old and new offerings\, and Hand Made items that would make great gifts for the holidays. \nHarvest Fair at St. David’s is an annual favorite providing a good time with neighbors and friends as we welcome in the season of harvest and the holidays to follow. May our celebration unite us as a sacramental community\, and may we be filled with new energy to bear witness to God’s work of redemption. \nThe investiture of Presiding Bishop-elect Sean Rowe will be a simpler\, scaled-down event this fall with a view toward reducing carbon footprint and increasing virtual engagement and participation. \nThe  service will take place on Nov. 2 at the Chapel of Christ the Lord in The Episcopal Church Center in New York City with a diocesan roll call at 9 a.m.\, prelude beginning at 10 a.m.\, and the service starting at 11 a.m. There will be an extensive livestream production to support churchwide access and participation. \nWho: Everyone is invited! \nWhat: The Episcopal Church will officially welcome the Rt.
