Christ Church

Although Christ Church, Dark Harbor, Islesboro, is a non-denominational chapel, the services have been Episcopal for as long as anyone can remember.

The chapel, in existence since 1892, holds Sunday services from the beginning of July until Labor Day. Between Labor Day and July, the church operates until the direction of the Rev. David Boulton, a retired year-round resident of the island. He conducts services through the winter on Sunday mornings in the Catholic church, which is heated.
