Stewardship for Children and Families

Will you by your prayers and witness help this child to grow
into the full stature of Christ?

I will, with God's help.

Children have an innate sense of compassion and an eagerness to share in the baptismal ministry of the church. When we engage children in the theology of stewardship and the financial life of the church at a very early age, we help them build a foundation for life-long habits of generosity.

Programs available to congregations through the Stewardship Office include:

• Spend, Save, Share: a fun, interactive workshop for small children and their parents
• Nurturing Stewards: a conversation among parents, Christian Formation leaders, grandparents/godparents, and clergy
• Budget Basics: an introduction to stewardship and financial wellness for youth and young adults
• You Name It!: custom programming for individual congregations or ecumenical groups on issues relating to stewardship with children, families, and communities
