Strengths: 1. We are a “downtown” parish in Rockland: two blocks from the harbor in mid-coast Maine. 2. Two Sunday worship services (8 AM – Rite I & 10:30 AM – Rite II) filled with joy and faith as we hear the Good News! 3. Community Outreach Programs: noonmeal feeding program on weekends and special holidays for those in need of food and/or companionship 4. Toy Library to help young parents learn parenting skills. 5. Venue for self-help activities: recovering from addictions and counseling families 6. Bread bakers for bread at the Eucharist and to offer loaves to newcomers as a sign of welcome. Challenges: 1. Even more effective ministry to the needs of the community 2. Invigorate the process of Christian Formation 3. Attract new members: families with children 4. Expand programs for children and our neighborhood youth 5. Caring for our building to serve its mission 6. Grow our financial resources
